The Inward Journey

Yoga entered my life more than eight years ago, at a time when I felt completely unanchored—emotionally, physically, and mentally. What started as a desperate search for relief gently unfolded into a profound inner journey. Through regular Yoga practice, I began to experience a sense of balance, stillness, and clarity that no external solution had ever offered—an inner space untouched by the noise and demands of life.

In 2019, I took a life-changing leap and immersed myself in the 1750+ hour Isha Hatha Yoga Teacher Training Program, designed by Sadhguru. This intense and sacred process reshaped every dimension of my being. It wasn’t just a training—it was a deep dive into the very core of Classical Hatha Yoga, offered in its original, untouched form. Rooted in discipline, precision, and inner science, it helped me overcome years of mental, emotional, and physical compulsions. It brought about a deep clarity and stability that continues to unfold with each passing day.

Since then, I’ve had the honour of teaching Hatha Yoga in Canada, particularly in Whitby, as well as in parts of India. Through Ojassv Hatha Yoga, I’ve shared this ancient science with children, adults, and families from all walks of life. From young kids learning concentration and calm, to professionals managing stress, to mothers reconnecting with their strength—Yoga, when transmitted in its classical form, becomes a doorway to a more conscious and balanced way of living.

Each person I teach reminds me of why I began this journey—to offer what transformed me. Whether you’re just beginning or are ready to deepen your practice, Classical Yoga provides tools for vitality, inner stillness, and true well-being. It is not about flexibility or performance—it’s about living with awareness, grace, and balance.

At Ojassv Hatha Yoga , my mission is to revive and share the depth of Classical Hatha Yoga—pure, powerful, and transformative. This is not modern, watered-down yoga. This is traditional Yoga in its purest form, and it brings me immense joy to share it with sincerity and reverence.

I am Ash, a dedicated yoga teacher certified by the renowned Isha Foundation, under the guidance of the inspirational, visionary guru, Sadhguru. My journey into the world of yoga began as a personal seeking for knowing, inner peace and holistic well-being, and it has since evolved into a profound passion for sharing the transformative power of yoga with others.

 

The yoga practices Isha offers extends beyond physical postures; it encompasses the profound wisdom and ancient knowledge that has passed on through thousands of years in the form of Classical Hatha Yoga. I am committed to helping my students explore the depths of their inner selves, find balance in their lives, and unlock their full potential through the practice of yoga along with all the health benefits that will come with the practices.

 

With a gentle, caring, and compassionate approach, I strive to create a welcoming and nurturing space for students of all levels. Whether you are a beginner taking your first steps on the mat or an experienced yogi looking to deepen your practice, I am here to guide and support you on your journey to wellness.
